Environment Monitoring

With industrial sites being asked to control and monitor more aspects of their footprint, monitoring the environmental impact of a site, production process or machine is becoming more important. Control Automation Solutions has multiple standardised panels we can implement on our customer sites, to start monitoring environmental aspects, immediately. The types of environmental variables we have monitored in the past and we have standard design for are the following.

Water quality monitoring

Our water quality monitoring panel can give a reading of a number of environmental conditions. The monitoring system has sample conditioning and a possibility for redundant instrumentation and an automated inline sample taking procedure. The main water quality components that are selected by our customers are oxygen content, temperature, conductivity, turbidity and pH, but we can measure 1 or all components in a single monitoring panel.

Air quality monitoring

Our air or gas quality monitoring systems can monitor various components in the air, and can also be setup as gas analysis systems for combustion or exhaust gas for instance. These panels are mainly used for monitoring air quality on industrial sites where the air quality is a restriction on the operational contracts.

Process water quality monitoring in EX environment

We can put all of our water quality monitoring system in an Intrinsic safe or EXd environment and have a readout on the local DCS system. If there is no DCS available, a webserver to present the data to the user can be implemented. These panels can be installed in high temperature areas, or areas where there might be traces of gas.
