We now combine our electrical engineering, process automation and MES knowledge offer turn-key solutions for the food and beverage market. Electrical systems
Control Automation Solutions can design and build any electrical panel for the food and beverage market. We can build panels for remote IO, electrical distribution, MCC or PLC/IT and IT networking panels. Our panels are all designed in a digital engineering environment giving the option for improved life cycle management, and making it easier for the Control Automation Solutions maintenance team to service the panels when required.

Machine automation and robotics
Packaging lines, fillers, mixers, they all need automation. Control Automation Solutions can automate any machine or even robotise the in-feed and out-feed of machines. There are many smaller machines or stations on food and beverage production sites which need to have a faster processing or decision speed than a process automation PLC can offer. Therefore a machine automation PLC can be programmed to control the machine or robotised control, the process automation PLC can then be used to control the machine with start and stop signals, but not do the detailed control itself. Control Automation Solutions can program machine automation, robots and also the interface to the DCS PLC.

Batch process control systems
Batch process control is a very important layer of control in the food and beverage industry. Control Automation Solutions is able to integrate a batch process control system based on most brand of base process control systems. We do this based on recipes which are modular and can be updated by the customer. Reporting for batches can also be configured by us which gives our customers a complete batch process layer which is compliant with any food authority they need to submit records to.
Production order management
When it comes to MES or order manager, Control Automation Solutions has its own tools for generating the order information for batch systems. Control Automation Solutions also implements systems by OEMs like Siemens, Werum and Aveva. Order management is important to implement because it reduces the complexity and involvement in create batches for the batching system. Order management can take your weekly excel planning and transform it into a list of batches with all their settings that can be approved to be loaded directly into the batch software.
Plant IT and cyber security
With the extensive knowledge Control Automation Solutions has in the IT market, helping our industrial customers with their Plant IT and cyber security is one of the most requested projects we are asked to quote on. Getting the IT and Cyber security side of a site figured our can save a lot of money when it comes to ease of operation, and protection against hackers. Making sure the Plant IT side of your site is setup correctly can also save you as lot of money on the energy saving side. Dairy processing
Control Automation Solutions has many years of experience in most processing systems in dairy factories. From truck offloading, storage, evaporation, mixing, spray drying, powder handling, can filling, pasteurising and many other processes, Control Automation Solutions know what we are talking about and can deliver a turn key electrical and automation solution for a whole factory, or parts of it. Due to our process knowledge we can prepare the automation system in such a way, that operating the site will be much more intuitive for operators then they have been used to.
SIP/CIP sets
As Control Automation Solutions has done multiple CIP and SIP sets, we have a good idea what our customers will need to clean their process equipment. That is why we have created a set that can easily be bolted on to an existing processing plant, and will allow CIP, SIP or both in one easy kit. Control Automation Solutions can provide all equipment in a pre-tested box that we can install easily on your site. We can include a custom control unit for it, but also integrate the complete control system in the customer’s process automation system. This set is batch compliant, so it can block and release equipment for production if it is not cleaned after production.
